Wick Phillips announced today that Texas State Representative Morgan Meyer (R – Dallas) has joined the firm as a partner in the Dallas office. The addition of Morgan, who joins the firm’s commercial litigation practice, supports Wick Phillips’ focus on strategic growth by targeting the legal market’s best talent.

With almost two decades of experience, Morgan comes to Wick Phillips as a commercial litigator, representing prominent business clients in a diverse set of areas: telecommunications, energy/oil and gas, intellectual property, consumer finance, banking, employment disputes, real estate, landlord/tenant issues, construction, securities litigation, insurance, commercial banking, financial services, and healthcare; as well as representing debtors and creditors in bankruptcy proceedings. A member of the Texas House of Representatives, Morgan represents House District 108, which includes Dallas, Highland Park, and University Park, and in 2015, he served on the House Energy Resources and Insurance Committees.

“I am excited to work with an incredibly talented group of people as partner with the Dallas-based business law firm of Wick Phillips. Our mutual interest in providing the highest level of service to our clients makes this an ideal fit.” stated Morgan.

Morgan joins the firm at an exciting time as they expand and add practice areas, pursuing purposeful growth for the past several years. Wick Phillips continues to establish itself as a leading full-service law firm that handles complex matters for clients in Texas and around the country.
