DALLAS – JULY 19, 2012
Bryan Wick, co-founder and managing director of Wick Phillips, has been named to Collin County Business Press’s 40 Under 40 list of influential business leaders in North Texas. This is the first year the North Texas newspaper has compiled this comprehensive list.
Composed of young North Texas professionals under the age of 40, the list acknowledges executives who have achieved a high level of recognition in their chosen fields.
“The honorees were selected for their professional achievements, community involvement and their efforts in making a difference,” said Robert Francis, editor of Collin County Business Press, who noted that the judges selected the finalists from a long list of applicants. “In addition to the long hours at the office, our honorees spend countless hours on the boards of many non-profit organizations, coaching children’s sports teams or just volunteering their time. They are making a difference throughout Collin County and they are the new generation of leaders.”
Wick has been recognized for his professional accomplishments and contributions to his profession. Since the firm’s founding in 2004, Wick Phillips has grown into a full-service business law firm with 26 attorneys specializing in multiple practice areas. The firm has also successfully opened offices in Fort Worth and Austin, Texas and has built a culture that attracts top-tier talent from around the country.
“My professional goal is to grow Wick Phillips into the ‘go to’ mid-size law firm, which offers a unique business model that focuses on innovation and service,” Wick said. “Wick Phillips is built on cultivating long-term relationships, where clients are treated as business partners rather than transactions.”
In addition to the firm’s business successes, Wick Phillips has also been recognized as a community leader. The Firm has developed a company culture that supports and encourages community involvement and philanthropy within the firm, which currently boasts 20+ charities and organizations supported by Wick Phillips and its staff members. Wick Phillips has established a partnership with Entrepreneurs for North Texas (EFNT), and has been one of the prominent supporters of its annual Freedom Day in 2010, which pays tribute to lives lost during the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
