Dallas, Texas, March 5, 2018 – Wick Phillips is pleased to announce the opening of its Collin County office. The Collin County office strengthens the firm’s presence in a market that is projected to be one of the nation’s fastest-growing economies over the next five years, according to Oxford Economics. “This is a milestone for Wick Phillips and tactically positions us to better serve our clients,” said David Drez, managing partner of the firm.
The Collin County office will support Wick Phillips’ recently expanded intellectual property group that, along with its established relationships with Collin County businesses, will take the lead in growing the new location and facilitate expansion of the firm’s full range of services. In addition, IP partner Jerry Harris and litigation partners David Anderson and Jeff Hellberg will re-locate to the Collin County office. This move offers opportunities to reinforce the firm’s commitment to current relationships and growth within a region Wick Phillips sees as having significant potential.
The Collin County office, located at Granite Park Two, 5700 Granite Parkway in Plano, joins Wick Phillips offices in Austin, Dallas and Fort Worth, strengthening the firm’s strategic position in the North Texas market. “The new office reflects our recent growth over the last five years—doubling in size by attorney headcount—by expanding our legal services to anticipate our clients’ needs in Collin County and North Texas,” said founding partner Bryan Wick.
As the Collin County office ramps up in the coming months, Wick Phillips will enhance its initial service offerings of IP and litigation to include other practice areas, including its award-winning corporate practice.
