Dallas, Texas, January 3, 2025 – Wick Phillips announces the promotion of Catherine Curtis, Colin Benton, Colin Mize, Elizabeth Brooks, Lauren Leider, and Will Holtz as new Partners of the Firm. “We are pleased to welcome these bright attorneys as partners. They each exemplify the leadership and service qualities that are paramount in our Core Values,” said firm managing partner Rob Wills.

Catherine, a partner in the Firm’s bankruptcy section, represents debtors, trustees, creditors, lenders, and buyers in Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 bankruptcy proceedings, including adversary proceedings. Her experience includes assisting clients in corporate reorganization, bankruptcy litigation, preference and fraudulent conveyance actions, plan of reorganization treatment, and automatic stay relief.

Colin B, a partner in the Firm’s litigation section, focuses on civil appeals and disputes, complex commercial litigation matters, including breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, oil and gas, bankruptcy, and arbitration.

Colin M, a partner in the Firm’s corporate section, focuses on mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance, private equity, and general business matters.

Elizabeth, a partner in the Firm’s estate planning section, advises clients and partners on various tax, estate planning, asset protection, corporate and business, and other wealth preservation matters by analyzing the tax consequences of transactions and entity structures.

Lauren, a partner in the Firm’s litigation section, represents clients in a variety of commercial litigation matters, with a focus in construction litigation, breach of contract, fraud, and negligence matters.

Will, a partner in the Firm’s real estate section, represents real estate developers and investors, private equity firms, and other clients in a multitude of real estate and business transactions, including the acquisition and disposition of commercial real estate, raw land, mineral interests, and other properties.
