Dallas, Texas, April 30, 2021 – Wick Phillips announces that Erika Bright, partner and head of the firm’s Insurance Recovery Group, has been elected as a Fellow to the American College of Coverage Counsel.
The American College of Coverage Counsel (ACCC) is a renowned association of U.S. and Canadian lawyers who represent the interests of insurers and policyholders. Established in 2012, the ACCC’s mission is to advance the creative, ethical, and efficient resolution of insurance coverage and extracontractual disputes; to enhance the civility and quality of the practice of insurance law; to provide peer-reviewed scholarship; and to improve the relationships among the members of our profession.
The ACCC inducts Fellows who are distinguished for their skill, experience, and high standards of professional and ethical conduct in the practice of insurance coverage and extracontractual law, and who are dedicated to excellence in this practice area.

Erika is an accomplished lecturer and author on insurance issues and frequently speaks at industry conferences, events, and law schools nationwide. Ms. Bright serves as Faculty Member and lecturer for the Texas Bar CLE’s Advanced Insurance Law Course and UT Law CLE’s Annual Insurance Law Institute. She has authored and contributed to many leading publications, including the ABA’s Handbook on Additional Insureds and Law 360.
