Catherine Curtis represents debtors, trustees, creditors, lenders, and buyers in Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 bankruptcy proceedings, including adversary proceedings. Her experience includes assisting clients in corporate reorganization, bankruptcy litigation, preference and fraudulent conveyance actions, plan of reorganization treatment, and automatic stay relief. Catherine also represents receivers and other court-appointed fiduciaries in state and federal court.
Before joining the firm, Catherine practiced at Husch Blackwell LLP, where she handled various litigation, bankruptcy, and insurance coverage matters. Catherine also served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Barbara J. Houser, Chief Bankruptcy Judge of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas.
